Zacatecas "place where grass is abundant" is a city in Mexico, located approximately a days drive from Texas. Zacatecas the capital of the state of Zacatecas. Indeed, these attributes, along with historic infrastructure such as its aqueduct, garnered this city a UNESCO designation as a "World Cultural Heritage" in 1993. The climate is dry and generally healthy, being warm in the valleys and temperate in the mountains.
